The Center for Black Health & Equity has a broad strategic partner network, staff and board members with experience and expertise in the areas of chronic disease prevention and health policy.

Trainings and Workshops

Through training series and practical workshops, The Center staff can build the capacity of community members and state-level decision makers to serve more effectively or influence policy change.

Technical Assistance

We provide tailored technical assistance and capacity-building consultation to organizations seeking to do health justice work in the area of tobacco control, cancer prevention and education, and HIV communications and campaign promotion. Sessions can range from ½ day to multiple days of on-site or web-based support. All offerings are focused on outreaching to the African Americans or supporting policy-change initiatives that benefit people of African descent.
